Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sr. Open Source Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the internal expert on open source licensing, regulations,
and policy
Develop and execute patent strategy and product protection
initiatives
Provide legal guidance on product development and open source
community relations
Required Qualifications
JD or equivalent from an accredited law school and a valid license
to practice
Multiple years of relevant legal experience in an in-house
context
Expertise in open source legal issues and IP protection
Demonstrable engagement with open source communities or
initiatives
Prior experience at a company with strong open source
foundations
